Me ha parecido una de las mejores películas de este año, creativa, basada en una historia real y con unos actores fantásticos. No soy un gran amante de las películas de guerra, pero esta tengo que darle un grado A más calificación,. desde el principio me envolvió en ella, nunca un momento aburrido sumergido sentimiento involucrado con él estado allí con él, brillante, fabulosa y maravillosa historia. Esta historia trata de un objetor de conciencia que fue a la guerra salvó a 75 hombres, nunca manejó un arma. Sobrevivió con su propio ingenio y sobrevivió. Podría contarles mucho más, pero no sería justo arruinarles un gran espectáculo contándoselo todo. Acción y suspense a raudales, momentos para morderse las uñas que te harán avanzar a toda velocidad. Ahora, para relajarte de verdad, coge todo lo que necesites, como algo para picar y bebidas, colócalas en la mesita, apaga los móviles y descuelga el teléfono, porque es una noche especial en la que no querrás que te molesten. Muy recomendable. Disfrútela.
La historia real en la que se basa esta película es claramente digna de ser contada, sin embargo, esta película no le hace justicia. Todo es demasiado sacarino, limpio, chispeante y brillante. Incluso las escenas de acción en primera línea, a pesar del gran número de partes del cuerpo, están demasiado esterilizadas. Como esta película carece de un ambiente de verdadera crudeza o de lucha convincente, las increíbles acciones de Desmond Doss tienen poco contra lo que contrastar, por lo que parecen menos de lo que realmente debieron ser. Como muchas películas recientes, esta también utiliza la paleta de colores brillantes y vibrantes y la artificialidad de las películas de cómics de Marvel, y esta es su perdición.
