Elvis (stylized as ELVIS) is a biographical drama film about the life and career of singer Elvis Presley directed by Baz Luhrmann, from a screenplay written by Luhrmann and Craig Pearce. It stars Austin Butler and Tom Hanks, with Olivia DeJonge, Yola, Luke Bracey, Kelvin Harrison Jr, Dacre Montgomery, Helen Thomson, Richard Roxburgh and David Wenham in supporting roles.
The American Film Institute named Elvis as one of the top ten films of 2022. At the 80th Golden Globes, it received three nominations, including Best Motion Picture – Drama, winning Best Actor – Drama, and received seven nominations at the 28th Annual Critics’ Choice Film Awards, including Best Picture. For his performance, Butler received numerous awards, including nominations for Best Actor at the London and U.S./Canadian Film Critics’ Awards and the Golden Globes.
In 1997, Elvis Presley’s (Austin Butler) former manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks), is on his deathbed after suffering a stroke. Nursing a gambling addiction that has left him destitute, he recalls how he met the “king of rock and roll.”

Although the title seems to say he would never return, Cruise unfortunately reprised his role as Jack Reacher, in a sequel that seems more like a goofy, technologically unadvanced parody of Mission Impossible.
In this post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller, Cruise is a drone repairman who encounters a group of survivors (led by Morgan Freeman), and begins to question the nature of his entire reality. As always, Cruise keeps what would otherwise be a rather clunky plot moving.
Tom Cruise plays a German officer with an American accent who leads a group of German soldiers with British accents in a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler during World War II. It is based on a real military plot that could have been much better, but in the end remained a merely entertaining film.
In this action comedy, Cruise is once again a secret agent who accidentally introduces Cameron Diaz to an international conspiracy. For all his testosterone-filled espionage material, Cruise proves here that he can also make light of all action hero movies.

Bueno amigos, ha pasado demasiado tiempo desde mi última entrada en el blog. ¿Cómo es que el tiempo puede parecer que se vaya tan rápido? He tenido varios momentos en los que me sentí impulsado a sentarse y escribir, pero el tiempo simplemente no ha permitido que eso. La lista de excusas van desde 2 años de edad, el trabajo, espectáculos ecuestres, y yo podría seguir, pero por ahora sólo voy a estar agradecido por la oportunidad de un minuto libre para escribir mis pensamientos. ¡Para recapitular de mi último blog, hablé de cómo la música habla a ser! Me permite relacionarme de maneras que no sé cómo comunicar. No siempre se me da bien explicarme o explicar mis sentimientos, pero una canción puede resumir todo lo que siento. La canción sobre la que escribí en mi último blog era People are Good de Luke Bryan. Simplemente me habla. Las palabras son tan verdaderas y crudas, y eso me encanta. Así que continuemos.
“Creo que amas a quien amas, no hay nada que debas temer”… Bueno, esta pequeña frase se convertirá en un blog completamente diferente si no tengo cuidado. Algunas personas lo saben y otras no, pero mi dulce marido y yo nos llevamos 19 años. Fue un comienzo difícil para nuestra relación, no a causa de algo que cualquiera de nosotros hizo, pero la lucha vino de la gente que nos rodea. Esas circunstancias fueron duras y pusieron a prueba nuestra relación desde el principio, pero yo sabía que cuando sobreviviéramos de alguna manera a esos meses difíciles, lo conseguiríamos. Durante nuestros primeros tiempos juntos, remodelamos juntos por completo una pequeña casa a la que luego me mudé a 3 horas de distancia. Como nunca había estado lejos de casa ni de mi familia, fue duro. Pero después de hacer de esa pequeña casa nuestro hogar, estar tan lejos ya no era tan malo. Exploramos juntos nuestra nueva ciudad y nuestro nuevo hogar. Siempre guardaré esos recuerdos. Crecimos mucho durante ese tiempo y siempre será una de mis épocas favoritas de la vida. 5 años después, hemos vuelto a vivir cerca de la familia y hemos dado la bienvenida a nuestro dulce bebé, que ya no es tan pequeño. Es un niño loco (casi) de 2 años que dirige nuestras vidas. Y no nos gustaría que fuera de otra manera. Esta es una temporada bastante increíble de la vida que estoy llegando a disfrutar con mi marido. Es muy especial para mí y me mima a diario. No podría desear nada más.
